Chelsea Factory, a successful pop-up founded to help artists emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, is entering its last chapter this coming spring!
Chelsea Factory has provided significant support to address the needs of New York’s artist community during an unprecedented time. Since opening our doors in the fall of 2021, we have served 5,000+ New York City-based artists primarily from historically excluded communities, proudly welcomed over 50,000 audience members back to live performances, produced over 300 public performances and free events, and partnered with nearly 200 artistic and community organizations.
We would like to thank you, our Chelsea Factory community of artists, friends, neighbors, board/advisors and supporters, for helping us bring this vision to life.
Between now and spring, our calendar is packed full of exciting activity. We will also be announcing our last cohort of Resident Artists shortly. We invite you to come see us, follow along in the eventful upcoming months, and join us in celebrating the incredible artists and audiences who have passed through Chelsea Factory’s doors.
